Alessandro Carletti works regularly with Damiano Michieletto. Notable productions that Carletti worked on include Il trittico (Theater an der Wien), Don Carlo (Wiener Staatsoper), Un ballo in maschera (Teatro alla Scala), Cavalleria rusticana (Teatro San Carlo, Naples), Nabucco (Festival Verdi, Parma), and Rigoletto (Parma). For Guillaume Tell (Royal Opera House) he received the Knight of Illumination Award 2015. At Dutch National Opera, he designed the lighting for Il viaggio a Reims (2014) and Rigoletto (2016).
