Dmitri Tcherniakov
Dmitri Tcherniakov, geboren in Moskou in 1970, studeerde af aan de Russische Theateracademie. Hij regisseerde opera- en theaterproducties in Rusland, Europa en de VS en ontwierp tevens de kostuums en het decor voor deze producties.
Tcherniakov werd meerdere malen geëerd met de Russische Nationale Theater Prijs, de Golden Masks, als ook met The Opera Award 2013 in de the categorie, Beste Regisseur en Beste Productie en met de Italiaanse prijs van muziekcritici, de Franco Abbiati (2008) en de Spaanse National Campoamor Lyrics Award in 2014.
