Salvador Villanueva

Tenor Salvador Villanueva grew up in Hermosillo, Mexico, and began his vocal training at the Universidad de Sonora and subsequently with the Mexican Opera Studio (MOS). Salvador joined the Dutch National Opera Studio last season, and sang Gastone in La traviata and the role of the Tenor in The Four Note Opera. Season 2024-2025 Salvador sang the role of Borsa in Rigoletto and he performed the role of the First Sailor in Dido and Aeneas in Concert.

He said farewell to Dutch National Opera & Ballet in June 2025.
