De tweede reis brengt ons naar het welbekende Aalto Theater in Essen. Hier bezoeken we Donizetti's Lucrezia Borgia. Een mooie aanvulling op de triologie van DNO van de drie koninginnendrama's. Jessica Muirhead zingt de titelrol. Het afgelopen seizoen hebben wij haar gehoord in Simon Boccanegra.

Dutch National Opera, in collaboration with Musico, is organising a special Opera trip to Paris. From Adriana Lecouvreur to Giulio Cesare. We would like to take you along all the opera highlights in the city with big names like Anna Netrebko and conductor Klaus Mäkela.

Conductor Edward Ananian-Cooper is happy to take you through the rehearsal process. Come and listen and be blown away by the voices of the Dutch National Opera Chorus.

Voorafgaand aan de première van Die Zauberflöte bieden wij u graag de mogelijkheid deze feestelijke avond in te luiden met een geheel verzorgd walking dinner op het Entresol.

Een unieke benefietavond, waarbij u met een select gezelschap kunt genieten van een bijzonder diner óp het toneel van Nationale Opera & Ballet, te midden van prachtige operadecors. U ervaart de magie van opera zo dichterbij dan ooit tevoren.

In het nieuwe seizoen gaan de eendaagse Vriendenreizen weer van start. De eerste reis is op zondag 8 oktober en gaat naar Duisburg. Hier brengt de Deutsche Oper am Rhein de voorstelling Orpheus in der Unterwelt van Jacques Offenbach.

We stellen graag de nieuwe jonge talenten van de Junior Company en De Nationale Opera Studio aan u voor.

Graag ontvangen wij onze Vrienden en Geefkringleden en de Vrienden van het Residentie Orkest voor een borrel, een korte inleiding en aansluitend een bezoek aan een gedeelte van de voorgenerale van de nieuwe opera Innocence. Met o.a. bariton Thomas Oliemans.

Op zaterdag 2 september 2023 zet Nationale Opera & Ballet de deuren wagenwijd open. Klein en groot, kenner en nieuwkomer: iedereen is welkom en de toegang is gratis.

You are welcome to take a look behind the scenes at the Dutch National Opera Studio's audition training sessions. Rosemary Joshua, the head of the Opera Studio, prepares the talents for future auditions on the main stage. During this audition training, they will sing the most beautiful arias.

You are welcome to come and see the rehearsal process for Messa da Requiem a week and a half before the premiere. This large-scale production features 36 dancers, 96 chorus members, and four soloists in an extraordinary interpretation of Verdi's famous funeral mass.
