Sílvia Lanao

Sílvia Lanao (1995, Spain) is a composer fascinated by exploring sound colours and textures. She started her composition studies in Barcelona at Conservatori Liceu. Her open-minded and critical character led her to Amsterdam where she completed her bachelor in composition at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Wim Henderickx and Willem Jeths. In 2018, she was awarded the first prize, Alba Rosa Viëtor composition prize, at the festival Alba Rosa Viva! Sílvia is currently finishing her master studies in Amsterdam with Richard Ayres and Jorrit Tamminga.
