Kimberley Agyarko

Kimberley Agyarko is dedicated to amplifying untold stories. A graduate of the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts, she has performed with Theater Bellevue, Studio 52th, Theater Zeelandia, Frascati Producties, HNTJong, and Toneelmakerij. Her notable appearances include Let’s talk about sex by HNTjong, Misfit de Switch, and the recent horror film Paria.

In 2022, she developed the podcast Overseas. She is part of the new creators scheme of the Performing Arts Fund, in collaboration with RIGHTABOUTNOW INC., Theater Bellevue, and De Balie. Inspired by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Americanah, she is working on a transmedia project about migration and identity, which will culminate in a stage performance.

Her work consistently explores themes of intergenerationality, belonging, and spectatorship. She has travelled to her roots in Ghana specifically for this purpose.
