What was your first performance?
“I can’t recall which opera it was, but the first ballet I saw was Giselle, which I adored.”

What is your favourite performance at Dutch National Opera & Ballet, and why?
“In terms of classical ballets, I enjoyed Swan Lake during the 2022-2023 season, but my favourite piece thus far is Blake Works I by Forsythe. I think the music is excellent, and the steps are also quite sassy. The dancers seemed to be having a great time during that piece!”

What makes Dutch National Opera & Ballet special, in your opinion?
“Many other factors contribute to the great quality of the performances, including the dancers, chorus, staging, and orchestra.”

Matinee or evening performance?
“Evening performance, if I ever have children, I will attend a matinee performance.”

If you could have one costume from a Dutch National Opera & Ballet production that was exactly your size, which would you choose?
“A tutu, perhaps one of those pretty blue ones from Raymonda.”
