On 2 July 2022, Dutch National Opera Studio performs Henry Purcell's Dido and Aeneas in Paradiso. In the video series ‘From Audition to Performance’, we follow the members of the Opera Studio on their journey, from the very first auditions to the performance in Paradiso in Amsterdam.

In this first episode of ‘From Audition to Performance’ we follow sopranos Elenora Hu and Claire Antoine as they audition for the same role. Artistic leader Rosemary Joshua will have to decide who will fit the role the best. Watch and see how the whole audition process takes place!

Episode 3
In the third and final episode of the video series 'From Audition to Performance', we see how the Opera Studio members and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra come together for the first time, for an orchestra rehearsal in the NedPho dome. And we get a sneak peek during the dress rehearsal in Paradiso Amsterdam on the day of the performance. Can the singers control their nerves?
