Àlex Ollé

Along with Carlus Padrissa, he directed the performance of Mediterrani, mar olímpic, the central section of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Barcelona (1992). Àlex Ollé also directed his first opera productions with Padrissa, including La damnation de Faust, Die Zauberflöte and Hertog Blauwbaards burcht. They were followed by many other operas, such as Le grand macabre, Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny, Quartett, Tristan und Isolde, Oedipe, Un ballo in maschera, Erwartung, Il prigioniero, Aïda, Madama Butterfly and Der fliegende Holländer. Recent and future productions include: Pelléas et Mélisande (Dresden), Frankenstein (Brussels), Norma (London), La bohème (Turin) and Mefistofele (Opéra de Lyon).
