Music that inspires reflection

On the occasion of National Remembrance Day, Ukrainian and Russian singers present a musical programme in the foyer of Dutch National Opera & Ballet.

On 4 May, Dam Square in Amsterdam is the location of the annual commemoration of the victims of World War II and of subsequent war situations and peace-keeping operations. Dutch National Opera’s contribution to the commemoration comprises music that inspires reflection and expresses feelings of sorrow, displacement and hope.
