The Polish bass Rafał Siwek made his professional opera debut in 2002 at the National Opera in Warsaw, as Gremin in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. Ever since, he has grown into an internationally, much sought-after bass. His repertoire mainly consists of grand, dramatic bass roles from Verdi, Wagner and Russian composers. At Dutch National Opera, he sung Sparafucile in Verdi’s Rigoletto and Il Commendatore in Don Giovanni.
