Harpsichordist

Goska Isphording (Poland) specialises in modern music on historical instruments. She performs as a soloist and chamber musician, working with ensembles, orchestras, and composers all around the world, as well as giving lectures and masterclasses. She has performed over a hundred solo and chamber music works composed particularly for her, including five harpsichord concertos by Hanna Kulenty, Roderik de Man, Andrzej Kwieciński, Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil, and Evan Johnson.

Isphording has performed in numerous prestigious concert halls and at various festivals. As a soloist, she has been featured at the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, the International Conference of Music (Barcelona), Gaida Festival (Vilnius), Transit (Leuven), Klangzeit Münster, Cutting Edge Festival (London), Progetto Musica (Rome), November Music (Den Bosch), the Warsaw Autumn, and Musica Polonica Nova (Wrocław). From 2011 to 2015, she served as the artistic director of the Prix Annelie de Man, an international festival and competition for harpsichordists and composers in Amsterdam.

Currently, Isphording is a member of the London-based Riot Ensemble and teaches modern harpsichord methods at the Amsterdam Conservatory.
