This edition of Operas in the Park took place in 2022. Find out more about Opera in the Park 2023.
Each year during the Holland Festival, an opera included in the programme is also shown on a large screen outside in the park. During this special edition - Holland Festival celebrates its 75th anniversary - a second opera, chosen by the audience, will also be screened! The free Operas in the Park event consists of the operas Falstaff (Friday 24 June) and Der Freischütz (Saturday 25 June).
Falstaff
This year, Holland Festival is looking back at history and asking the audience which opera in the park they would most like to see again. The public chose and, by a narrow margin, the winner was Falstaff by Giuseppe Verdi.
