Architecture of Hope

Architecture of Hope

Architecture of Hope is a creation by the Dutch choreographer Wubkje Kuindersma, set to music by the Italian composer Ezio Bosso. The ballet - how appropriate in these times - takes the feeling of hope as its starting point and is an exceptionally challenging work. The choreography is extremely physical, consists of many layers and much tension, and features a number of strong and demanding duets.

“Highlight of the evening”

Architecture of Hope is a co-productie of Dutch National Ballet and West Australian Ballet and premiered in Perth, Australia in February 2020. At its premiere, the work was received with rave reviews such as “The audience was truly drawn into the mesmerising dancers’ journey throughout this work” and “Rich in intensity, style and perfectly executed moves, this was far and away the highlight of the evening”.
