Bass-baritone Frederik Bergman graduated from the Conservatory in Tilburg in 2012. In 2018, he made his debut at Dutch National Opera in the role of Abraham in James MacMillan’s Clemency. He was part of Dutch National Opera Studio during the operatic seasons of 2019-20 and 2020-21. During his time as a member of Dutch National Opera Studio he appeared on stage as Jacob Epstein in Willem Jeths' Ritratto, in Rossini's Petite messe solennelle and in Donizetti Queens in Concert. During the 2021-22 season, he already returned more than once to Dutch National Opera as an alumnus. He sang the role of Masetto in Don Giovanni, sang the role of Soldier in the concert performance of Strauss’ Salome and appeared as Lord Rochefort in Anna Bolena.
