Yannick Verweij
Scenographer
Yannick Verweij studied Theatre Design at the HKU University of the Arts in Utrecht and Drama at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. In addition to his work as a designer (set design, costumes, lighting, video), he also works as a stage director and writer, and he teaches at HKU. He produced designs for Theater Oostpool (De Bananengeneratie), the Venice Biennale (scenography for the Dutch Pavilion), the Philharmonie de Luxembourg (Parmi les étoiles) and Opera Zuid (Bluebeard's Castle). At Dutch National Opera, he previously designed the set and costumes for The Four Note Opera.
