Wojciech Dziedzic

Kostuums

Wojciech Dziedzic (costume design) studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and the Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design in London. He designs costumes for theatre, opera, dance and musical productions. His work was already on display on stages such as Teatro Real in Madrid, Opéra national de Paris, Komische Oper Berlin, Opéra de Lyon, Oper Frankfurt, La Monnaie/De Munt, Washington National Opera, Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Staatstheater Stuttgart, Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Theater Utrecht, Toneelschuur Haarlem, de Nederlandse Reisopera and on Festival Aix-en-Provence. He collaborated with directors such as Pierre Audi, Ivo van Hove, Robert Icke, Mariusz Treliński, Katie Mitchell, Johan Simons, Clement Cogitore, Thomas Ostermeier, Grzegorz Jarzyna, Pia Partum and Thibaud Delpeut. He often creates costumes for ITA, and collaborated regularly with Nanouk Leopold (Uit het leven van marionetten and De thuiskomst at ITA and Anatomy of a Suicide at Berliner Ensemble). Moreover, he contributed to the Broadway productions The Crucible (Ivo van Hove) and The Glass Menagerie (Sam Gold). At the Dutch National Opera, he designed the costumes for Stockhausen’s Aus LICHT.
