Valentina Carrasco

VALENTINA CARRASCO (directing) studied music, dance and literature in her hometown Buenos Aires. Since 2000 she has been part of the collective La Fura dels Baus, with which she has worked on Die Zauberflöte, Bluebeards Castle, Das Rheingold, Die Walküre, Michaels Reise um die Erde, Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny, Quartett, Tristan und Isolde, Aida and DQ Don Quijote a Barcelona. Outside La Fura dels Baus she created the choreography for La Strada (Luc van Hove) and the production for Der Ring des Nibelungen in Buenos Aires. Recently: Proserpina (Rome), Die Zauberflöte (Trieste) and Francesca da Rimini (Theater Kiel).
