
Valentin Quitman
Valentin Quitman attended professional training in Montpellier at the dance center Epsedanse before completing his dance education in Switzerland, first as an advanced student at the private school Dancearea in Geneva, and then in Basel where he graduated from the Ballettschule Theater Basel in 2013.
Part of the junior company of the Zurich Ballet between 2013 and 2015, Valentin has danced in several works by choreographers such as Christian Spuck, Itzik Galili, Stephan Thoss, Eva Dewaele, Filipe Portugal, Mats Ek and William Forsythe.
As a freelancer he performed with Boll&Roche Cie in Sion, Switzerland, he joined and toured with the Ballet of Metz Opera as well as the National Ballet of Ireland and was a guest artist with the Nuremberg Ballet under the the direction of Goyo Montero.
From 2018 to 2020 Valentin was a member of the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam performing the works of Ed Wubbe, Nicole Caruana and Marcos Mauro among others.
Following his years with Scapino, he continued freelancing on a variety of productions for Opéra Royal de Wallonie - Liège, Choregies d’Orange, House of Makers Amsterdam, Dutch National Opera & Ballet, dancing in l'Ombre de l'âme with the Compagnie Julio Arozarena and participating in La Belle Aventure by Etienne Frey as dancer and choreographer.
