Tatjana Almuli

Tatjana Almuli is a writer, freelance photographer, and journalist. Her debut Knap voor een dik meisje, about the weight of weight, was published in 2019. In January 2022, her novel Ik zal je nooit meer appeared, exploring a (secret) family history, delayed grief, and transgenerational trauma. Both books were nominated for the Opzij Literature Prize.

Together with Malou Holshuijsen, Almuli co-hosts the podcasts Tussen dertig en doodgaan and De Boekenkamer.

Almuli is also an experienced public speaker. She has participated as a panelist, chair, and moderator at various events and regularly speaks at medical conferences organised by institutions such as the GGD, Erasmus MC, and Medilex, addressing topics like stigmatization in healthcare and the importance of more diverse representation.
