Teresa Iervolino

Mezzo-soprano

Italian mezzo-soprano Teresa Iervolino made her opera debut at the Teatro Filarmonico with the title role in Stravinsky's Pulcinella. Since then, she has worked with famous orchestra conductors such as Roberto Abbado, Alberto Zedda and Ivor Bolton. Her repertoire includes roles such as Maddalena in Rigoletto, Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia and Calbo in Maometto II. Moreover, she recently sang the roles of Adalgisa (Norma) at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Rosmira (Partenope) at Teatro Real de Madrid, the title role in Rinaldo at Teatro La Fenice and Fenena (Nabucco) at the Arena di Verona Opera Festival. At DNO, she has previously appeared as Maddalena in Il Viaggio a Reims and as Holofernes in Judith Triumphans.
