Steven van der Linden

The Dutch tenor Steven van der Linden studied at the School of Music in Berlin and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He joined Dutch National Opera Studio in September 2024. He made his debut on the main stage as Missail/Boyar in Boris Godunov. In spring 2025, he performed the roles of Lucano, Soldato and Famigliare in Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea with the Nederlandse Reisopera as part of his training programme at Dutch National Opera Studio. He recently sang the role of Five in Philip Venables’ We Are The Lucky Ones at the Ruhrtriennale in Bochum. Later this season, he will perform the role of Basilio in Le nozze di Figaro.

In October 2025, he will appear as Prins Nicola / Heggenschaarhuzaar in Operetta Land by theatre-maker Steef de Jong and later this season as Basilio in Le nozze di Figaro.
