Natalya Romaniw

Soprano

The Welsh-Ukrainian soprano Natalya Romaniw is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Career highlights include her acclaimed performances in the title roles of Kát’a Kabanová (Grange Park Opera) and Tosca (The Royal Opera House, Staatsoper Hamburg, Oper Frankfurt, Deutsche Oper Berlin, English National Opera), as well as her role debuts in Ariadne auf Naxos and Rusalka (Garsington Opera), her house debut as Jenůfa at Opéra de Rouen, and her return to Houston Grand Opera as Blanche (Dialogues des Carmélites) and Ortlinde (Die Walküre). She recently enjoyed great success as Sieglinde in the new production of Die Walküre at The Royal Opera House and as Helena in the world premiere of Mark-Anthony Turnage’s Festen, also in London. She makes her debut at Dutch National Opera in the role of Floria Tosca.
