German-Brazilian tenor Martin Muehle was a member of Nationaltheater Mannheim's soloist ensemble from 2013 to 2015, where he sang Faust (La damnation de Faust), Gabriele Adorno (Simon Boccanegra), the title role in Lohengrin, Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly) and Calaf, among others. Most recently, Muehle made his house debut at Oper Frankfurt as Des Grieux in Manon Lescaut, and his role debut as Otello at the Staatsoper Hannover. He also sang roles such as Don José (Carmen) in Cologne, and the title role in Andrea Chénier at Deutsche Oper Berlin. Muehle makes his DNO debut in 2022 with Turandot.
