Chinese bass Liang Li is in great demand on international opera stages. His repertoire includes roles such as König Marke in Tristan und Isolde, Il Commendatore in Don Giovanni, Fiesco in Simon Boccanegra, Filippo in Don Carlo and Zaccaria in Nabucco. He sang at the National Center of Performing Arts in Beijing, Opéra national de Paris, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Semperoper Dresden and Staatsoper Stuttgart, among others, where he was a member of the soloist ensemble for ten years and was appointed Kammersänger in 2016. Liang Li makes his DNO debut in 2022 with Turandot.
