Joe Chalmers

The British bass-baritone Joe Chalmers studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. In 2021, he made his debut at English National Opera singing the role of Captain Corcoran in HMS Pinafore. He has also performed at Garsington Opera and Longborough Festival Opera. He is a member of Dutch National Opera Studio as of the 2024-2025 season. He made his debut at Dutch National Opera in the role of Il Conte di Ceprano in Rigoletto (2024), and also performed the role of Der Einarmige in Die Frau ohne Schatten (2025).
