Jasurbek Khaydarov

Bass

The bass Jasurbek Khaydarov, from Uzbekistan, studied at the Gnessin Music Academy in Moscow. In 2023, Khaydarov received the Emerging Voice award at the 22nd Concorso Lirico Internazionale Ottavio Ziino in Rome, and made his debut at London’s Wigmore Hall. In 2024, he took part in the Young Artist Programme at the Salzburg Festival, where he performed the role of the Fat Englishman in Prokofiev’s The Gambler

Since the 2024–2025 season, Khaydarov has been a member of Dutch National Opera Studio. He has already appeared on the main stage of Dutch National Opera & Ballet as La Voce in Mozart’s Idomeneo and as Andrei Shchelkalov in Boris Godunov. In the 2025-2026 season, Jasurbek will be heard in Simon Boccanegra as Pietro and in Semele as Chief Priest of Juno.
