Jacquelyn Wagner

Soprano

Jacquelyn Wagner studied at the Manhattan School of Music and at the Oakland University of Michigan. She made her professional debut at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, where she later became a member of the ensemble. Recently she sang at opera houses such as the Wiener Staatsoper, Teatro Real in Madrid, Opernhaus Zurich, the Semperoper in Dresden and at the Osterfestspiele in Salzburg, where she sang the role of Elsa von Brabant in Lohengrin with Christian Thielemann. She has collaborated with orchestras such as the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig and the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich and conductors such as Andris Nelsons, Paavo Järvi, Myung-Whun Chung, Marc Albrecht and Daniele Gatti. At Dutch National Opera, she previously sang the title role in Richard Strauss’ Arabella (2014).
