Itzel Medecigo
Mezzo-soprano
The Dutch-Mexican mezzo-soprano Itzel Medecigo studied in Mexico City and Utrecht. She sang various roles at Opera Spanga, including Olga in Eugene Onegin and the title role in Carmen. At Dutch National Opera, she has sung solo roles in Tannhäuser. At Dutch National Ballet, she sang the solo alto part in the world premiere of Gavin Bryar’s Requiem.
