Elisa Soster

Soprano

Soprano Elisa Soster studied flute and voice at the Valle d’Aosta Conservatory. In 2017, she made her debut as Gilda in Rigoletto in Magnitogorsk, Russia. She performed roles in, among others, A Matter of Triumph and Void by Wim Henderickx, Sarah Was Ninety Years Old by Arvo Pärt and The Stabat Maters of Luigi Boccherini and Giovanni Battista Pergolesi. In 2019, she graduated from the International Opera Academy in Ghent. During this training, she sang with Opera Ballet Vlaanderen in several productions, including Witches and Madness, Lohengrin, Furioso and the youth performance Petit Pelléas. Since the 2020-2021 season, Soster has been a member of Opera Ballet Flanders’ Youth Ensemble and has sung the roles of Sophie in Werther, Najade in Ariadne auf Naxos and Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro.

Elisa Soster sings the role of one of the six Mädchen in Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny, which will be performed at Dutch National Opera from 6 September to 27 September 2023.
