Daria Brusova

Daria Brusova (Salsk, Russia) obtained her degree from the Academic Music College of the Moscow State Conservatory and participated in the Young Artists Opera Programme of the Bolshoi Theatre. She possesses a lyrical coloratura soprano, a type of soprano voice in classical music known for its ability to sing very high notes and execute intricate, rapid runs and embellishments. In October 2023, Daria won the second prize in the Lied Duo category at the 56th International Vocal Competition ’s-Hertogenbosch (IVC), and in 2024 she was chosen to participate in the Verbier Festival Young Artists Programme. At Dutch National Opera her roles this season include Il Paggio in Rigoletto and Belinda in Dido and Aeneas.
