Bastiaan Everink

Baritone

After a career in the Royal Dutch Marine Corps, Dutch baritone Bastiaan Everink studied classical singing at the Academy of Music in Enschede (the Netherlands) and at the McCray International Studio of Vocal Arts. He has featured as a guest performer at Oper Frankfurt, Staatstheater Nürnberg and Deutsche Oper Berlin in Germany, as well as at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. His repertoire includes roles such as Don Pizarro in Beethoven’s Fidelio, the title role in Verdi’s Nabucco, Don Carlo di Vargas in Verdi’s La forza del destino and Scarpia in Puccini’s Tosca. In his previous appearances at Dutch National Opera, he sang the roles of Der Heerrufer des Königs in Lohengrin (2014) and Klingsor in Parsifal (2016).
