
Aušrinė Stundytė
The Lithuanian soprano Aušrinė Stundytė studied in Vilnius and Leipzig and started her career as one of the soloists at Oper Köln. She is a popular guest performer at Europe’s leading opera houses and festivals. At the Salzburg Festival, she has sung the title role in Elektra, Judith in Bluebeard’s Castle and Natasha in The Idiot. She has also made guest appearances in recent years at opera houses including the Royal Opera, the Vienna State Opera, Staatsoper Berlin and Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. At Dutch National Opera, she previously sang the role of Bianca in Zemlinsky’s Eine florentinische Tragödie (2017).
Aušrinė Stundytė returns in April 2025 for the role of Sein Weib in Die Frau ohne Schatten.
