Annette Dasch

The German soprano Annette Dasch is currently one of the most in-demand singers. Her repertoire includes roles as Jenny in Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny, Marie in Wozzeck and the title role in Kát’a Kabanová. Annette Dasch is a regular guest performer at Deutsche Oper Berlin, Volksoper in Vienna, Zurich Opera House and Alte Oper Frankfurt. In addition to Chawa in Die ersten Menschen, at Dutch National Opera she has previously sung the title role in Jenůfa (2018), Ghita in Zemlinsky's Der Zwerg (2021) and Cizí kněžna (Foreign Princess) in Dvořák’s Rusalka (2023).
Annette Dasch sings the role of Chawa at Dutch National Opera from 22 January to 2 February 2025 in the revival of Die ersten Menschen.
