Simon Berger
Dramaturgy
Simon Berger studied German and philosophy in Potsdam and Berlin, as well as dramaturgy at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig. As a dramaturg at Theater Basel, he worked with directors Christof Loy, Arpád Schillings and Vera Nemirova, among others. From 2015 to 2022, he was dramaturg at the Komische Oper Berlin, where he worked with directors such as Barrie Kosky, Benedict Andrews, Harry Kupfer, Jetske Mijnssen, Damiano Michieletto and Andreas Homoki. He is currently a dramaturg at the Nationaltheater Weimar.
