Shara Maaskant

Shara Maaskant discovered her talent for dancing at a young age. She had lessons at the Underground Dance Center in Groningen. At the age of fourteen, she took part in the World Championship in Las Vegas. She graduated from the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts in 2015. Since graduating, she has been a dancer and creator at the X_YUSUF_BOSS foundation. Shara Maaskant regularly works and dances with Ada Daniele, including in productions by X_YUSUF_BOSS. They also teamed up to create projects such as HIDDEN for the Jonge Harten theatre festival, MOVE IT for Noord Nederlands Orkest, for De Wijk De Wereld and now for Dutch National Opera.
