Rachael Hewer
Revival director
The British Rachael Hewer went to the Bristol Old Vic Theatre school. In 2020 she founded VOPERA - The Virtual Opera Project, and directed a film version of Ravels L’enfant et les sortilèges, which was rewarded with the South Bank Sky Arts Award for Opera, and the Royal Philharmonic Society Award for Opera and Music Theatre. She worked for operahouses and festivals like English National Opera, The Royal Opera House and Garsington Opera. She also worked for the Royal College of Music, Royal Academy of Music, The Royal Shakespeare Company and on the West-End.
