Richard Prada

Richard Prada began his musical studies in Brazil and continued them with Meinard Kraak at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. He has performed in ensembles such as Fala Musica, Bozzolo and Cappella Figuralis. Richard Prada also performs as a soloist in the Netherlands and abroad. His oratorio repertoire includes Bach's Johannes-Passion and Matthäus-Passion, Mozart's Requiem, Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle and Handel's Messiah. In the field of opera he has performed roles such as Tamino Die Zauberflöte, Ferrando Così fan tutte and Nemorino L'elisir d'amore.

Richard is now a permanent member of the Chorus of Dutch National Opera. Here he performed as a soloist in productions such as Die Fledermaus, Billy Budd, Eugene Onegin, The Nightingale and other fables, La traviata, Arabella, L'étoile, La bohème, Der Rosenkavalier, Il trovatore, Khovanshchina and Wozzeck.
