Klevis Elmazaj

Klevis Elmazaj is an Albanian choreographer and dancer living in Amsterdam. He took his first steps as a ballet dancer in Italy, and continued his studies at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London. Klevis works as a choreographer for several dance companies and maintains a close working relationship in the field of opera with director Christof Loy. They worked together on Salome (Finnish National Opera) and Rusalka (Semperoper Dresden), among other productions. With director Julia Burbach, Elmazaj worked on a production of Eugene Onegin for Theater Lübeck.
