Jean Kalman
Lighting designer
Since 1979, Jean Kalman has provided lighting for countless theatre and opera productions in France, Japan, Great Britain, Italy and the Netherlands. He has worked with Peter Brook, Hans Peter Cloos, Robert Carsen and Pierre Audi, among others. Productions to his credit with Audi include Iphigénie and Aulide | Iphigénie and Tauride, Wolfgang Rihm's Dionysos, Guillaume Tell and the world premieres of Jonathan Harvey's Wagner Dream. With the world premiere of Eurydice - Die Liebenden, blind, he continued his long-standing collaboration with Audi.
