Isabel van Hauwe

Isabel van Hauwe (1993) is a dramaturge and a second-year student of the master’s programme International Dramaturgy at the University of Amsterdam. In 2018, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Theatre Studies. At the moment, her interests within the field of theatre are centred around music theatre, movement theatre and post-colonial narratives in art. She did an internship as direction and production assistant for the performances Alles van Waarde (2019) by music theatre company de Veenfabriek and Hoofdrol (2017) by music theatre collective KASSETT. This year, she worked as a dramaturge on the project #rituals, which was part of the Opera Forward Festival 2020, and on the production Earwash of Alberto Granados Reguilon at the Gaudeamus Festival 2020.
