Gerbrand Bos

The designer Gerbrand Bos uses a distinctive approach to create modern, eclectic and expressive images. His collage-like style incorporates a range of symbols, signs of the times and styles. Bos always sees his work as a dialogue in which his designs are influenced by the people he is collaborating with. He seduces the viewer with fashionable images, glitter costumes and fabulous figures. His designs are maximalist, striking and sometimes alienating. He has recently collaborated with directors and theatre makers such as Gregory Caers, Elike Roovers and Hanna Timmers. He also creates socially engaged artistic works through his collective Raven.
