Fabienne Vegt

Fabienne Vegt works as a dramaturge in the international world of dance, theatre and opera. Most of her collaborations are discipline-colliding creations, ranging from more intimate pieces to grand operatic stagings. As a former dancer, Vegt’s work as a dramaturge is influenced by 14 years of experience in the performing arts. After graduating from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, she danced with Dutch National Ballet and Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT 2). With both companies, she was part of many (new) creations by several leading choreographers such as Hans van Manen and Jiří Kylián. 

Fabienne started her academic studies in 2011 at the University for Humanistic Studies in Utrecht. Thereafter she graduated in Art Studies (BA) at Ghent University and in Dramaturgy (MA) at University of Amsterdam.
