Edward Ananian-Cooper
Artistic director Chorus of Dutch National Opera
Edward Ananian-Cooper, from Australia, studied choral and orchestral conducting at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. In 2017, he won second prize in the Northern Choir Conducting Competition in Denmark. Since then, he has frequently been engaged as a guest conductor for various choirs and ensembles. As of 2018, he has been the guest conductor for the Danish National Radio Choir and the artistic leader of the Opéra de Limoges chorus. He was appointed the chorus master of the Chorus of Dutch National Opera in September 2022.
