Assistant chorus master

Ad Broeksteeg is a highly sought-after conductor and repetiteur. As a conductor, he has led performances of major works for orchestra, chorus, and soloists, as well as various staged and concert performances of operas by Verdi, Puccini, Bellini, and Mascagni. As a repetiteur, he works with Opera Vlaanderen, Opera Zuid, the International Vocal Competition ’s-Hertogenbosch, and Brabant Koor, among others. He also coaches and accompanies singers in their preparation for and performances of songs, opera, and oratorios. Additionally, he serves as repetiteur for the Kempenkoor and accompanist for the opera and operetta ensemble LOL (Laat Operette Leven), which performs both domestically and abroad. He is also a guest conductor with various prominent choruses.

Since 2015, he has been assistant chorus master of the Chorus of Dutch National Opera, where he has been involved in the preparation of many major choral productions.

As a chorus master, Ad Broeksteeg was responsible for preparing the chorus for productions such as Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny and Pelléas et Mélisande.
