Donnacha Dennehy

The Second Violinist is his second opera with Enda Walsh, after The Last Hotel. Recent highlights include the docu-opera The Hunger (New York and St. Louis), Broken Usion (New York), Tessellatum (New York), and compositions for soprano Dawn Upshaw, Third Coast Percussion, Kronos Quartet and Doric String Quartet. Soon his latest work Overcasting will premiere at The Los Angeles Philharmonic. Dennehy regularly collaborates with the Crash Ensemble he founded and has been with Princeton University since 2014.
