David Bösch
Director
The German director David Bösch has already put his name to many productions: not only plays by Wedekind, Shakespeare, Fallada, Ibsen, Dorst and Kleist, but also operas like Orlando furioso by Vivaldi (Oper Frankfurt), L’elisir d’amore, Mitridate, re di Ponto, Het sluwe vosje and L’Orfeo (Bayerische Staatsoper München, where Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg is also on the programme in 2016). Bösch has worked with Schauspielhaus Essen and Schauspielhaus Bochum, and has been working with the Burgtheater in Vienna since 2013-2014. He is guesting with Dutch National Opera for the first time with Le nozze di Figaro.
