Ana Luisa Negrão was born in Goiânia (Brazil). She began dancing at the age of three and began her ballet training at the Teatro Escola Basileu França in Brazil at the age of five. In 2020, Ana competed in the Prix de Lausanne, after which she moved to London and continued her studies at the Royal Ballet School until 2022. One year later, Ana returned to Brazil, where she resumed her training at the Teatro Escola Basileu França. That same year, she was selected for the Prix de Lausanne 2023, where she secured the seventh scholarship and the contemporary dance prize, and admitted to the Junior Company of Dutch National Ballet.
