Chloë Abbott

British trumpeter Chloë Abbott regularly performs with leading contemporary music ensembles including Musikfabrik, Apartment House, Asko|Schönberg, Ensemble Consord, Ensemble Modelo62 and is a Contemporary Leader of the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra. She is the first-ever female trumpeter to be cast as 'Michael' in Stockhausen's Light cycle at the Holland Festival in 2019. As a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, she specializes in the performance of new and contemporary music. She is constantly developing new techniques and collaborating with composers to create innovative solo, chamber and interdisciplinary works.
