Casey Herd

Casey Herd (Salt Lake City, United States) danced with American Ballet Theatre and Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle, and from 2008 to 2016, he was a principal dancer with Dutch National Ballet. In addition, he performed as a guest principal with leading ballet companies. After retiring from the stage in 2016, Herd began a new career as an international guest teacher and competition jury member. Together with Dutch National Ballet dancer Laura Rosillo, he also founded Ballet Rising, a non-profit organisation dedicated to making ballet more accessible in unexpected places around the world.
